A new Medicare app is now available to help you to take better control of your health information.
the 1800MEDICARE app synchronises with your my health record and will keep:
- All of your scripts (including keeping your e-scripts in the app in case you lose the paper copy)
- Immunisations
- Results
- Health care summaries
- Discharge summaries
- Anything else that your doctor has uploaded
This is really great news for our regular patients visiting the mainland, as if you have set this up you will be carrying a summary of your health record with you at all time.
We have made some recent IT improvements of our own at the clinic, and we hope we will be keeping your records up to date and synchronised with My Health Record for many years to come.
If you download the app and notice that there is information missing, please get in touch and we may be able to assist in sending your data through to My Health Record to appear in your app.
