We are very pleased to announce that we are now able to supply PBS prescription medications for all valid PBS prescriptions.
This means that if you have a prescription from a doctor on the mainland, for example from a specialist or a telehealth appointment (including from other GPs) we are now able to dispense these prescriptions once again.
Recently, there had been limitations placed upon the dispensing of prescriptions that were issued at other locations, and we were limited to dispensing only medications that had been prescribed on-island. After some long discussions with various government agencies and other stakeholders we are pleased to report that this issue has been resolved.
If you have been affected by this issue, please let us know if you would like to have your prescriptions dispensed on-island again in future.
