Blood tests
Pathology tests are sent to the mainland twice weekly, and we run two regular blood sample collection clinics. No appointment is necessary, but you do need to have a pathology form from a doctor:
- Tuesday – 07:30 – 08:30
- Friday – 07:30 – 08:30
Urgent pathology samples, including blood and other tests can be collected at other times, but will not be sent to the lab on the mainland until the next pathology on Tuesday or Friday. Some tests are not suitable to sit and wait for the next collection and you may be asked to return to one of the clinics listed above.
Please note that some pathology tests may incur a fee from the lab, and / or from the clinic. Please confirm with staff during your appointment.
Not sure how to prepare? You can find helpful information and preparation guides here.
